Well...that's over and done with! It was long, with the usual speeches and awards, and of course the graduating students. There was some high emotions afterwards, but sis and I kissed and made up [we literally pecked each other's cheeks!] I doubt her boyfriend and I will ever be on polite terms...I can understand my sister's attachment to him...cuz of my own experience...which only cements the dislike I had for this man before I ever met Steven...apparently my sister and I make similar poor choices concerning men that treat us like crap. I only asked Adam not to yell at me becuz mom pissed him off...after tell him to speak to mom more respectfully [who had left by this time]...but Sis flips out and yells at me. I can only imagine whether he bitched about how long it took us to find him, it takes a long time to navigate a crowd of that size, especially when you don't know where you're going [mom had to circumnavigate the building to find a bathroom], but somehow I get turned into the bad guy. Yeah, it still hurts a little, despite our kissing and making up. I know it's her day...duh!...but she way overreacted, worse than mom, and needs to get a handle onher temper...and ditch that asshole.
Different subject. I don't like driving to Scranton...too many hills...and for some reason, even though it's a shorter trip than driving up to my aunt's or my brother Cliff's, it seems sooooooooooooooooooo much longer. Oye! There was one nice thing...we [Liston, MOm and me] splurged and stopped for dinner at Perkins on the way home, just outside Tunkhannock. Very nice, good food and our waitress Samantha was excellent!!! She was pleasant, kind, checked with us often, and even though there were other people that came in after us, I felt like we were special!
Ok, I'm done in. Going to get some rest, and then motor on home to sleep in my own bed. At least I won't have to listen to Liston's alarm clock go off for a half hour at a time! We're gonna go up and see Cliff and family sometime soon...probably June. I can't take another road trip right this moment!
