Misc. Updates

First and foremost...Yes, I am still alive.

I'm waiting for the spaghetti to get done so that I can go to bed. I have to be back into work at 9...even though I worked until 10p tonight. It's not "life or death" work accorcding to the one supervisor...but the other one seems to disagree. The job must get done...even if I keel over in the process apparently. They just send me one job after the other and expect it all to get done and have a cow if it's not. If I weren't going back to nights, I do think I'd walk away.

We started going from Computer To Plate recently, so it ought to be easier to get crap done. And I also get to go back to nights...eventually. 'Some time' after Thanksgiving is what I've been told. Christmas might come sooner. It'll be nice to be on a closer schedule with Justin.

Sometimes I feel like all we get to do is say "Hi" and "Bye" to each other. That's middle of the week, but time on the weekends isn't always abundant either. Of course, he's a man and doesn't always get that I miss him. Although there are times when he's as moody as any woman!!! He got pissed at me one night and threw one of our cats out the door! And 2 days later when it came back ---- I let it back in.

I'm not sure what's worse...not climaxing during sex...or dreaming about sex and not climaxing then either!!!! I hate those dreams, I really do. At least the last few times that we've been intimate it's been goooooood.

Can a person be too secure in their sexuality? I commented on a woman's boyd one night in a movie we were watching ... it was a nice body ... and Justin looks at me like I'm nuts. I wasn't saying I'd want to have sex with the woman, just that she had a nice body. I was a bit envious too. Justin doesn't understand how warped a woman's perspective of her body can be. You can't tell me that Justin would love for me to be thinner and shaplier ---- I mean, I'd like to be that way myself!

It's just that I'm so tired that I don't feel like excercising...we don't always have the money to eat healthy. I'll never lose wieght living on spaghetti. But it's food and one must live.

Ok, speaking of spaghetti...it's done and I'm going to have a wee bit before I go to bed.

Oh, can you believe I've just now gotten around to reading Harry Potter? Just finished the first book and can't help but wonder what the big deal so many Christians have with it. Anyway. That's another subject for another time I think.

I also found one of my old college friends on facebook...awesome!!

Well, now that's out of the way...how are you?

:)

If a man says how good a woman's body is, then it's a sexuasl thing, but if a woman does it, it's a kind of an appreciation.

see - that's what I was thinking. Apparently Justin's never gotten that memo!

Weekenders!!!

It's that time again. For Michele's weekend Meet-n-Greet. Some frown, but others gleefully play. Here's a question for all who visit here, whether on your own or from Michele's: Last night during a prayer meeting, I had a memory flash through my mind. More like the shadow of the memory. I was five years old or younger and I was begging my father for a peanut butter cake. I really wanted one, and even though I was interupting the adult conversation and probably being a regular brat...my Dad quit what he was doing to search for a recipe for a peanut butter cake...uhm, I don't think he ever found one so he made me a chocolate one with peanut butter frosting. This is probably the best memory I have of my father. So - what is your favorite childhood memory?????

A Situation

Ok. I need to think out loud here for a bit while I wait on email. I have a situation going on that could become tough. A bit of background: About 2 years ago, a single man started coming to my church and showed an interest in me. It lasted about a month and a half, with him giving me mixed signals all the time...since I have been praying for a husband for a while now, at the time, it seemed like my prayers were being answered despite the confusion. It all came down one night about midnight in his parking lot and I haven't talked to him since. He only stayed around for another 7-8 months, and those were very hard months. He lied to me and mislead me, often. Like it was second nature for him. It was made even more traumatic by a discovery of mine on a website shortly after he left the area. In September 2005, I had a blind date that was far from fruitful. My singleness and desire to be married is known to all in church, and so... To the present: Yes, another single man has walked in...

Shock and Awe

It is a strange thing. How someone can say, "I'm sorry, please forgive me" and still manage to correct you all at once...it is truly amazing to me. I was shocked that this person actually admitted to being wrong, and at the same time, I was ashamed for wanting it. But it got me to thinking. About Repentance and Forgiveness...how once they have happened...there is healing and restoration. I haven't completely researched it yet, but the verses I've peaked at in James make me think I'm not far off. I wonder, just as one person sinning can spoil others...can one person repenting turn others to repentance? Hmm.... Of course, as in any relationship situation...it helps to know the whole story. Why do we do that, I wonder? Close up and not share what is going on, I mean. I know that sometimes, there are things that hurt too deep to share right away. It is frustrating. Thanksgiving looks to be a dismal day so far. I'm not about ready to invite myself to any...
