The Price of Vision these days...

Eye Exam = $69

Prescription lenses = $50

Frames = $29

Being able to see clearly without having to tip my head to compensate for the broken frame = PRICELESS

Being able to see is pretty paramount--esp for a bus driver, I'd say. Librarians too.

In that context, glasses are amazingly inexpensive--of course when you have no money it's hard to appreciate that.

And that reminds me, I need to get a new pair also, Ciera.

Nobody - not a problem, my dear, I know school days are busy. I would love to convert to contacts, but a few years ago the doctor I had then advised against it. so - I'm stuck with glasses, unless this new doc thinks otherwise....hmm, I'll have to ask.

utenzi - you're welcome for the reminder. Yeah, when they faxed my records to the new doctor, to verify that it was the right set, the receptionist asked me a few questions...one of which was - "You're extremely nearsited?" Uhm, yeah - what a great way to be known!!!!

'The Price Of Vision' is an ideal title for that subject.
