Quality Time.

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

Well, gee! I give you, like the best birthday present ever, and then I look at your love languages. Receiving gifts gets a big fat zero! I see how it is! I know when I'm not wanted!

(just joking of course)

I don't know about all that, Ciera. A far easier philosophy is to just jump in the sack and if everything works then move forward with the relationship. On the other hand, I've not noticed that strategy to work any more reliably than any other. Frankly, relationships are just too much damn work!

PS I feel pretty damn sure you're not going to subscribe to my philosophy--but that's okay, Ciera. It's not for everyone. LOL

Daydreamer - okie dokey!

Cliff - you goof ball! If you rememeber right're gift included quality time with you and the fam. :P gifts are cool and I appreciate them, but time and touch will communicate a lot more to me on a romantic level. It should be interesting someday as Boyfriend says he likes to give that'll be one area of my life I'll have to work on!!!!! I honestly have trouble accepting gifts from some people, ya know????

Utenzi: you're different philosophy doesn't bother one bit. We're all different and different things work for different people.
